TUBULAR – Non DEHP (with phtalates)

Description

The POLYPERF Safe curved safety Huber needle is available:

• in various lengths (15mm, 17mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm and 35mm) and diameters (19G, 20G and 22G),
• with a lateral injection port (codes 613511 ) or without a lateral injection port (codes 613511).

It is provided with:

• Luer-Lock connectors on which are screwed:

x closed protective caps (end of the main line) which must not be used as sealing caps,
x injection sites with a silicone septum on the ‘Y’ connectors,

• Clamps.

Tubing is DEHP (di-2 ethylhexyl-phthalate) free.

POLYPERF Safe is packaged in single thermosealed TYVEK pouch.
POLYPERF Safe is packaged in cartons of 12 units

Single-handed positive pressure: PPS®’s design allows to perform positive pressure during needle removal with one hand. This helps prevent catheter occlusions (1) (2) (3).

Prevention of Needle Stick Injuries (NSI) :
PPS® is a safe Huber needle offering protection against the risks of NSI (4). During disposal, there is no contact between the body and the needle tip.

Visibility of the puncture site :
PPS®’s design enables visibility of the puncture site, so that any complications can be monitored.

From paediatric to adults : PPS® is part of a wide range of Huber needles to suit all patient morphologies:
– 3 gauges (22G, 20G and 19G)
– 6 lengths (15, 17, 20, 25, 30, 35 mm).

PPS® is available with or without a Y site
